It is best to simply focus on her first Signature Ability as she can regain her health easily through other means as well. Due note that Umbrella already has plenty of ways to regain her health from her Prestige Ability, Marquee Ability and blockbusters such as TONGUE TWISTER and FEEDING TIME.
Puddle Pirate's second Signature Ability provides additional health regeneration while not RAVENOUS. A PUDDLE in the corner is the easiest way to trap the opponent, causing them to lose BUFFS. To fully take advantage of Puddle Pirate's Signature Ability, it is best to corner the opponent as soon as possible through ACID REFLUX, and then use BOBBLIN' BUBBLE or UNDER THE WEATHER to spawn a PUDDLE. These special moves and blockbusters are recommended as they can easily setup PUDDLES during a simple combo. Puddle Pirate will require moves that can provide PUDDLES such as WISH MAKER, BOBBLIN' BUBBLE, ACID REFLUX and UNDER THE WEATHER. Puddle Pirate also gains health when an opponent loses a BUFF, providing a small degree of survivability and sustain. Puddle Pirate is an offensive fighter that centers around BUFF control, using her PUDDLES. The idea for this voice pack is meant to demonstrate Umbrella's shift in attitude if she were to become a Skullgirl. The idea for the voice pack was inspired by Blaxploitation films which are an ethnic subgenre of exploitation films usually involving a black protagonist fighting against hostile authority figures in African-American urban areas. The idea for the voice pack originates from an in-joke that appeared in several Voices Of Gaming videos. Though not from an official source, the potential contents of the Anime Peacock voice pack were first mentioned in a Voices Of Gaming episode, in which Sarah Williams and other Skullgirls voice actors suggested quotes to be used in the voice pack, with "GLOMP!" (when initiating a grab) being one of them. Though not from an official source, the potential contents of the Drunk Announcer voice pack where first mentioned in a Voices Of Gaming episode, in which Joshua Tomar and other Skullgirls voice actors suggested quotes to be used in the voice pack.
